I've recently moved back to Liverpool after helping organise the Brighton Drupal User Group for the past 6.5 years, and I'm hoping to get something started here.
I honestly don't know how much Drupal happens in Liverpool these days, or if there are any other Drupal folks nearby, other than the fantastic NWDUG. But since their meetups are in Manchester, and it's hard for me to get up there, it would be nice to get something going in town. I did a search through the groups directory before creating this group, so hopefully there isn't something already set up.
Should we officially form a Liverpool Drupal Users Group (LDUG)? Or maybe we can come up with a catchier name like Liverpool Drupal Club (LDC) or the Society of Scouse Drupalists. Anywho, that can be discussed later on.
I'd like to start off small, possibly just doing a pub meetup like I did in Brighton, but maybe branch off into doing some talks, or some free training sessions to grow the Liverpool Drupal community.
